DUE TO THE ONGOING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC THERE ARE NO ROUTINE FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER WE CAN OFFER A TELEPHONE CONSULTATION.  PLEASE CALL BETWEEN 8.30AM-10.15AM TO REQUEST A TELEPHONE CALL BACK.  ONLY URGENT MEDICAL ISSUES WILL BE DEALT WITH AFTER THESE TIMES.

THE PRACITICE RECEPTION STAFF WHO ARE TRAINED PATIENT CARE NAVIGATORS WILL REQUIRE SOME INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SYMPTOMS, TO PRIORITISE AND DIRECT YOUR CALL TO THE MOST APPROPAITE HEALTH PROFESSIONAL.

PIP APPLICATIONS

As a Practice we no longer complete requests from DLA / Attendance allowance / PIP forms OR for supporting evidence.

We strongly believe that to get an accurate assessment a face to face consultation is vital.  This needs to be carried out by the agency making the decision about your application, not by your GP.

Staff Training

The practice will close 6 afternoons a year for Protected Learning Time for GP’s and Practice staff.  During this time, Western Urgent Care will provide an emergency service. Tel: 71865195

There will be other occasions when the practice will reduce its service to facilitate other staff training.  You will be informed by poster.
